What is the IH Madrid Preparación de Oposiciones course?
A completely new course which offers support for teachers entering for Oposiciones de Secundaria in June 2010.

Course Contents
The course is divided into four sections
  • Classroom language/technique
  • Designing activities
  • Programming
  • Classroom language / technique


Here we provide teachers with the basic principles and procedures associated with communicative language teaching. This part of the course will also provide the teachers with the correct teacher language to discuss these techniques and procedures.


Designing activities
This is the main practical component of the course and shows teachers how to take a theme from their ‘unidades didácticas’ and develop this into a programme of logical lessons.

Programming
In this part of the course, we help teachers to develop their 'programación' and explain their activities and the rationale behind their ‘unidades didácticas’ convincingly IN ENGLISH.

Course Aims
To provide teachers with a bank of ideas to use in planning their lessons and to give them the confidence to explain these ideas and activities in English.

How many hours?
The course consists of modules of 30 hours of practical based seminars, workshops and simulations.

Where is it run and when is the next course?
The course takes place every alternate Saturday morning from 10.00 – 13.00. Next entry date is February 27

Alonso Martínez,
Calle Zurbano, 28010 Madrid.
Metro Alonso Martínez - Lines 4, 5, and 10.

The cost of this 30 hour course is €445 Euros
