These courses are directed at children and young people between the ages of six and sixteen years old. They are taught by a team of teachers specialised in teaching English to each age group

The greatest care in determining the level of each student is essential to obtain the most effective learning. In order to guarantee the maximum homogeneity of groups as far as cognitive capacity, maturity and handling of the language, we establish the level of each student according to a double criterion that takes into account age as well as previous knowledge.
Our exclusive method is fundamentally communicative, based on the latest advances in the field of the education of English to children and young learners. All our teachers are native and highly experienced. In addition, all hold official titles in the education of their specific language. We employ a specialised team investigates, develops and applies the most suitable methodology for the linguistic training of young learners. We have developed an English programme exclusively with these young students in mind.

When registering your children at International House Madrid, you are guaranteeing their access to a high level of English as well as the preparation of qualifications from the University of Cambridge, which are recognised world-wide: Young Learners (Starters, Movers and Flyers), KET, PET, FIRST CERTIFICATE, C.A.E. and PROFICIENCY.  This presumes that the student has successfully passed the previous levels. At the end of every term, the registered students receive an individual assessment of their progress, specifying the course taken and level achieved.
